Final Results
STANFORD, Calif. - The University of Hawai`i Rainbow Wahine golf team (312-312-624) finished the Peg Barnard California Collegiate in 10th place at the Stanford Golf Course Saturday.
Corie Hou (74-76-150) was UH's top golfer, tying for 11th. Lisa Kajihara (78-74-150) was tied for 21st, followed by Xyra Suyetsugu (79-79-158), tied for 43rd, Carolina Perez (81-83-164), tied for 59th, and Phyllis Lai (85-84-169), tied for 70th.
Stanford (591) defended its home turf, winning the team title by four strokes over Washington (595). Oregon State (599), San Jose State (607) and UC Davis and California (609).
Karinn Dickinson of Washington won the individual title, finishing at even-par. Angela King of Stanford (+1) was in second, followed by Stanford's Mari Chun and San Jose State's Cristina Corpus (+4) and Washington's Anya Alvarez (+5).
The Rainbow Wahine will now wait for the WAC Championships in Fresno, Calif., from April 21-23.
