Final Results

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - The University of Hawai`i Warrior golf team (302-310-303-915) finished 14th at the Western Intercollegiate at Pasatiempo Golf Club Wednesday.

Travis Toyama (73-77-72-222) was UH's top finisher, tying for 14th. Robert Berton (72-78-75-225) tied for 30th, followed by Kamden Brakel (81-77-79-237) and 77-83-77-237), tied for 75th, and Ryan Perez (80-78-80-238), tied for 79th.

St. Mary's came from behind to win the team title by one stroke at 40-over-par. Michigan State and UC Irvine tied for second at 41-over-par, followed by California (+46) and Northwestern (+53).

Michigan State's Jack Newman won the individual title at four-over-par. He was followed by St. Mary's Mike McRae (+6), Northwestern's Kyle Moore (+7) and John Chin and Sean Shahi of UC Irvine (+9).
