Final Results
KANE`OHE, O`ahu - The University of Hawai`i Rainbow Wahine golf team (303-302-323-928) finished off the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational in fourth place at the Kane`ohe Klipper Golf Course Wednesday.
Lisa Kajihara (77-70-78-225) finished a great tournament, tying for ninth to lead Hawai`i. Carolina Perez (75-75-84-234) ended up in a tie for 17th, followed by Xyra Suyetsugu (75-79-82-236), in 23rd, Corie Hou (76-84-79-239), tied for 33rd, and Kimberley Marsden (83-78-86-247), tied for 67th.
Phyllis Lai (77-77-83-237) led the threesome of individuals playing for UH this week, tying for 24th. Erin Matsuoka (82-81-84-247) ended up in a tie for 67th with Kana Aikawa (84-88-88-260), tying for 83rd.
Oklahoma State won the team title, finishing up at 16-over-par. Arizona ended up in second at 29-over-par, followed by Arizona State (+33), Hawai`i (+64) and Wyoming (+86).
Arizona's Alison Walshe took the individual title, ending up as the only player under par at three-under-par. Oklahoma State's Pernilla Lindberg (+2) finished in second, followed by teammate Tamasin Clelland (+4) in third, and ASU's Azahara Munoz and OSU's Karin Kinnerud (+5), tied for fourth.
The Rainbow Wahine will have spring break off before heading to the Peg Barnard Invitational from April 11-12, in Stanford, Calif.
