Warriors In Fourth After Second Day Of WAC Championship

Day Two Results

RENO, Nev. - The University of Hawai`i Warrior golf team (283-284=567) moved to fourth at the Western Athletic Conference Championship at the Hidden Valley Country Club Tuesday.

Pierre-Henri Soero (68-72=140) remains UH top golfer at four-under-par, tied for sixth. Ryan Perez (71-70=141) is tied for 10th, followed by Travis Toyama (73-69=142), tied for 12th, and Cody Wolfenbarger (76-73=149) and Kyle Walters (71-78=149), both tied for 34th.

Host Nevada (-22) expanded their lead on the field to 10 strokes. They are followed by Boise State (-12), Fresno State (-10), UH (-9), Louisiana Tech (-1), New Mexico State (+2), Idaho (+4), San Jose State (+8) and Utah State (+11).

Individually, Fresno State's Grant Doverspike continues to lead the way at 11-under-par. He's followed by Devin Daniels of Utah State (-9), Nevada's Taylor Coffman (-6) and Chris Byrne of Boise State and Matt Rippy of Nevada (-5).

The championship concludes with the final round tomorrow.
