Final Results
SAN JOSE, Calif. - The University of Hawai`i Rainbow Wahine golf team (302-300-307=909) finished off the San Jose State Spartan Invitational placing sixth at the Almaden Country Club Tuesday.
Xyra Suyetsugu (75-75-74=224) led UH, finishing in a tie for 13th. Dale Gammie (73-78-77=228) was tied for 27th, followed by Nancy Shon (76-76-77=229) in a tie for 31st, Lisa Kajihara (78-73-80=231) in 40th and Corie Hou (80-76-79=235).
Host San Jose State ran away with the team title, finishing at 13-over-par. They were followed by Colorado and California (+28), UC Irvine (+31) and Idaho (+39).
Individually, UCI's Selanee' Henderson took the title at six-under-par. She was followed by SJSU's Janelle Gomez (-4) and Allison Goodman of California, Julie Kim of Colorado and Erica Moston of SJSU (+4).
Hawai`i will now take a couple weeks off before hosting the Donnis Thompson Invitational at the Kane`ohe Klipper Course from March 19-21.
