Warriors Finish Western Intercollegiate In Tie For 10th

Final Results

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - The University of Hawai`i Warrior golf team (293-281-298=872) finished the 61st Western Intercollegiate in a tie for 10th at the Pasatiempo Golf Course Tuesday.

Travis Toyama (72-70-75=217) was the top UH finisher, tying for 24th. Ryan Perez (77-68-74=219) finished in a tie for 29th, followed by Pierre-Henri Soero (76-73-72=221) and Cody Wolfenbarger (72-72-77=221), in a tie for 39th, and Kyle Walters (73-71-83=227) in a tie for 61st.

Purdue (+9) took the team title, followed by California (+24), Fresno State (+26), Washington (+27) and San Diego and Long Beach State (+28).

Individually, Xavier's John Streibich (-11) was the tournament medalist. Pariya Junhasavasdikul of Purdue (-10) is in second, followed by Kansas' Tyler Docking (-3), Illinois' Mark Ogren (-2) and Michael Jensen of California (-1).

The Warriors will next play in the Cougar Ping Classic from April 20-21, in Provo, Utah.
