Final Results

HILO, Hawai`i - The University of Hawai`i Warrior golf team (282-283-282=847) finished the UH Hilo Invitational in 13th place.

Pierre-Henri Soero led the way, shooting a final round 67 to end up at five-under-par (68-70-67=205), tied for 18th. Travis Toyama (70-70-68=208) finished at two-under-par, tied for 35th, followed by Ryan Perez (71-73-70=214) in 62nd, Cody Pewarchuk (74-70-79=223) tied for 84th and Cody Wolfenbarger (73-76-77=226) in 91st.

Stanford and Oklahoma State ended the three-day tournament in a tie at 37-under-par, with the Cardinal winning the team title in a playoff. Following those two were Arizona State (-24), Georgia Tech (-22) and Southern California (-21).

Oklahoma State's Jonathan Moore won the individual title with a three-day score of 15-under-par. Moore was followed by Georgia Tech's Roberto Castro and Stanford's Rob Grube (-11), Stanford's Joseph Bramlett (-10) and five golfers at nine-under-par.

Hawai`i will next host the 2007 John A. Burns Intercollegiate, from Feb. 21-23, at the Leilehua Golf Course.
