Sascha Heinemann were eliminated in the main draw at the prestigious Polo Ralph Lauren All-American Championships, Thursday, at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
Weber received an automatic entry into the main singles draw, while Heinemann earned a spot after winning three matches in the tournament's qualifying rounds.
Weber, ranked No. 28 in the ITA preseason singles rankings, eliminated 34th-ranked Jerry Makowski of Texas A&M in straight sets, 6-4, 6-3, in the first round. The Huenfeld, Germany native was ousted by 15th-ranked Ivan Puchkarov of Oklahoma, 6-2, 6-1, in the second round.
Heinemann, ranked No. 50, fell to qualifier and No. 88 Dominik Daescu of Oklahoma, 6-3, 7-5, in the first round.
Heinemann, Weber and the rest of the Rainbow Warriors will next compete at the Wilson/ITA Regional Championships, beginning on October 17.
