Final Results
BROOMFIELD, Colo. - The University of Hawai`i Rainbow Wahine golf team (299-297-310-906) finished eighth at the University of Colorado Heather Farr Memorial at the Omni Interlocken Resort Tuesday.
Xyra Suyetsugu (75-72-75-222) was the top UH finisher, tying for 14th. Lisa Kajihara (73-75-77-225) finished tied for 24th, followed by Corie Hou (74-75-78-227), tied for 30th, Carolina Perez (77-75-80-232), tied for 47th, and Kimberley Marsden (90-80-83-253), tied for 93rd.
Host Colorado won the tournament with a final score of 21-over-par. They were followed by Oklahoma (+25), Idaho (+26), Colorado State (+35) and UC Davis (+36).
Portland State's Kayla Morinaga won the individual title by finishing as the only golfer under par (-2). She was followed by CU's Dominique Pytlewski (even) and five golfers tied for third at three-over-par.
The Rainbow Wahine will next play in the San Diego State Aztec Fall Classic from Oct. 15-16 at the Salt Creek Golf Course in San Diego, Calif.
