First Day Results

HONOLULU - The University of Hawai`i Rainbow Wahine golf team (310-302=612) are tied for fourth after the first day of the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational at the Kaneohe Klipper Golf Course.

Carolina Perez led the way for the Rainbow Wahine, tying for seventh at +5 (77-70=147). Lisa Kajihara is second on the team at +14 (79-77=156), followed by Xyra Suyetsugu (75-82=157), Kari Sur (79-78=157), both tied for 37th, and Dale Gammie (84-77=161), tied for 51st.

Competing individually are Tara Chappell (75-75=150), Roslyn Folk (80-79=159), Nancy Shon (82-78=160) and Allie Rowe (83-89=172).

The tournament continues tomorrow.
