Final Results
KANE`OHE, O`ahu - The University of Hawai`i Warrior golf team (288-303-302=893) finished in 10th place at their UH Fall Intercollegiate at the Kane`ohe Klipper Golf Course Wednesday, wrapping up their fall season.
Pierre-Henri Soero (71-75-74=220) was the top UH golfer, finishing in a tie for 15th. Ryan Perez (73-74-74=221) was tied for 19th, followed by Travis Toyama (70-77-76=223) in a tie for 30th, Cody Pewarchuk (74-77-78=229) in a tie for 56th and Cody Wolfenbarger (75-77-82=234) in a tie for 75th.
Four Warriors competed as individuals, led by Kyle Walters (81-75-70=226), who was tied for 47th. Scot Miller (79-77-77=233) and Chase Bingham (74-79-80=233) tied for 73rd while Ashton Herriot (80-82-76=238) finished in 84th place.
Loyola Marymount finished the tournament at even-par to take the tournament title. They were followed by New Mexico State and San Diego (+5), San Diego State (+15) and Louisiana Tech (+16).
Individually, LMU's Brian Locke and San Diego's Darrin Hall tied for first at 10-under-par. Locke won the individual title on the first hole of the playoff. Matt Edwards of NMSU (-5) finished third, followed by Aaron Goldberg of San Diego State (-2) and Nick Travers of Boise State and LMU's Jason D'Amore (-1).
The Warriors will now have a few months off during the winter before opening their spring season on Feb. 7-9 at the UH-Hilo Invitational.
