WAIKOLOA, Hawai`i - University of Hawai`i sophomores Sascha Heinemann and Jeff Fitch qualified into the main draw of the USTA Waikoloa Futures tournament, Monday, at the Hilton Waikoloa Resort.

Heinemann and Fitch won matches in the qualifying round finals and will next compete in the first round of the main draw beginning on Tuesday.

Heinemann, the tournament's 15th seed, defeated fellow UH teammate, freshman Andreas Weber, 6-3, 6-1. Heinemann will face fifth-seeded Henry Adjei-Darko from Ghana in the first round.

Fitch defeated Patrick Frandji in straight sets, 6-4, 7-5. He will next face Dave Lingman in the main draw's first round.

The tournament continues throughout the week.
