WAIKOLOA, Hawai'i - University of Hawai'i men's tennis players

Jeff Fitch won their matches at the USTA's Waikoloa Futures qualifying tournament, Sunday, at the Hilton Waikoloa Resort.
The three advance to the qualifying round finals. The eight qualifiers earn spots to the tournament's main draw, beginning on Tuesday.
Heinemann, the tournament's 15th seed, defeated former UH teammate Bryon Weinberg, 6-0, 6-0. The sophomore will face Weber, a 7-5, 6-3 victor of fifth-seeded Ross Connolly, in one of the eight qualifying finals.
Fitch, a sophomore from Carlsbad, Calif., upset sixth-seeded David Stojan, 6-4, 7-5. He will next face Patrick Frandji, who out-lasted Germany's Hendrik Bode, 7-5, 6-7 (2), 6-4.
The tournament continues throughout the week.
