Warriors Finish Wolf Pack Classic In Tie For 12th

Final Results

RENO, Nev. - The University of Hawai`i Warrior golf team (287-293-299=879) finished out the Wolf Pack Classic in a tie for 12th at the Wolf Run Golf Club Tuesday.

Ryan Perez (69-74-72=215) was the top UH finisher, tying for 16th. Kyle Walters (69-75-76=220) was tied for 41st, followed by Cody Wolfenbarger (75-70-76=221) in a tie for 48th, Cody Pewarchuk (76-74-75=225) in a tie for 72nd and Pierre-Henri Soero (74-77-76=227) in a tie for 79th.

Iowa State won the tournament with a team score of 22-under-par. They were followed by Utah (-15), Colorado State (-9), Nevada (+2) and Denver (+3).

Individually, Utah's Dustin Pimm led the way, firing an 11-under-par 205. Following Pimm was Colorado State's Zen Brown (-8) and Iowa State's Joe Cermak, Louisiana-Monroe's David McKendrick and Boise State's Nick Travers (-6) all tied for third.

UH will stay in Nevada as they head south to Las Vegas to host the University of Hawai`i/District 7 Shoot-Out at the Angel Park Golf Course on Oct. 9 and 10.
