SALINAS, Calif.- After two rounds of the San Jose State Spartan Invitational, the University of Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine golf team has a 36-hole total of 611 and sits in 12th of the San Jose State Spartan Invitational place.
Sophomore Sara Odelius is in a three-way tie for seventh place after posting a two-over 73 and a one-over 72 in the first and second rounds, respectively. Fellow sophomore Dale Gammie is tied for 18th after shooting a four-over 75 in round one and a two-over 73 in the second. Also golfing for UH are junior Tara Chappell (157, T 57), sophomore Megan Stoddart (162, T65) and freshman Xyra Suyetsugu (163, 69).
 
UCLA leads the 15-team field after posting a 36-hole total of 579 as a team. California's Sofie Anderson is atop the leader board after shooting 135 over two rounds. The final 18-holes will be played Wednesday morning on the 5,826 yard, 71-par Corral de Tierra Country Club's golf course.
