REDWOOD CITY, Calif. - The University of Hawai`i coed sailing team finish 3-6 in seventh place at the Stanford hosted McIntyre Team Race.

Sailing for Hawai`i was Sophomore Scott DeCurtis, junior Joey Pasquali, junior Matthew Stine, junior Bryan Lake, sophomore Shandy Buckley, sophomore Cassandra Harris, and freshman Rebecca Mabardy.

Hawai`i was in the presence of the sailing elite this past weekend with six of the top-15 squads in the nation going head-to-head: #2 USC, #3 Yale, #9 UC Irvine, #10 Stanford, #12 St. Mary's of Maryland, #14 U South Florida. UH was also ranked sixth.

Next for Hawai`i sailing is the coed team at the Truxton/Umsted Regatta and the Rainbow Wahine team goes to the St. Mary's (Md.)Women's Intersectional both the weekend of March 19-20.

The University of Hawai`i coed team is currently ranked eighth and the wahine team is 13th.
