KANEOHE, Hawai`i-- With sophomore Dale Gammie atop the individual leader board, the University of Hawai`i women's golf team is in second place after shooting 665 over 36 holes on the 5,829-yard Kaneohe Klipper golf course. Gammie shot back-to-back 79s in the first and second rounds to claim a one stroke lead over Washington State's Kim Welch and Jay Lee Longbottom. The Cougars lead all teams after two rounds with 649.

Along with Gammie, sophomore Sara Odelius is among Top 10 golfers after she shot an 11-over-par 83 in the first round and a 10-over 82 in the second, which landed her in a three-way tie for 10th. Also tied for 10th is junior golfer Kari Sur. Sur who is competing as an individual, shot a 10-over 82 and 11-over 83 in the first and second rounds, respectively. Also golfing for UH's scoring team are junior Tara Chappell (170, T20), freshman Xyra Suyetsugu (176, T30) and sophomore Megan Stoddart (185, T 40). UH golfers competing as individuals are juniors Roslyn Folk (178, T32) and junior Allie Rowe (191, T45).

The third and final round begins Wednesday morning with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m.
