LAS VEGAS - The Hawai`i men's tennis team dropped another match to a ranked opponent, this time a 6-1 setback to No. 41 Oklahoma, Saturday, at the Fertitta Tennis Complex. The Rainbow Warriors (2-6) have suffered five losses to ranked teams this season.

Junior Ryan Sceats posted UH's lone victory in either singles or doubles, defeating Alexei Ivanov, 7-5, 7-6 at the No. 3 singles court. Sceats won his seventh singles victory this season and improved to 4-1 in dual matches.

Sophomore Chad Faulk lost a closely contested match at No. 4 singles, losing a straight set decision which went to a tie-breaker in both sets. Junior Bryon Weinberg also took his match to a first set tie-break but lost 7-6, 6-2 to Andrei Fukala at No. 2.

The Sooners opened the match by winning all three doubles contests. Senior Jarrod Diepraam returned to action - in doubles play only - after missing the previous four matches due to a back injury. Diepraam teamed with Derrick Lajola in an 8-3 loss to Marek Velicka and Silviu Tanasoiu at No. 2 doubles.

UH continues its current road trip with a dual match against UNLV, Sunday. First serve is set for 10:00 a.m. PST at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
