At that point, the Rainbow Wahine had put away 13 kills on their first 14 attempts, hitting a blistering .929. By the time Prince was up to serve again, it was to close out the game, as the Rainbow Wahine took it 30-11 on a block by Gregory and Alicia Arnott. Gregory ended the night with six blocks in just two games played.
Game three took a little longer for UH as a 8-2 Tech run gave LTU the lead at 13-10. But UH roared back, scoring 10 of the next 11 points to take the lead back at 20-14. Dave Shoji was able to sub out all three seniors to loud applause by the crowd before the Rainbow Wahine closed out the match with a 30-20 game three victory.
