University of Hawai`i coed sailing team finished in second out of 10 schools, with a 7-2 record, at the Jeremy McIntyre team race on March 6-7.

Participating for Hawai`i was All-America Bryan Lake, Joey Pasquali, Matthew Stine, Meredith Adams, Carly Allen and Sarah Reed.

UH beat out University of South Florida 6-3, Southern California 6-3, UC Irvine 5-4, Stanford 4-5, Boston College 3-6, Texas A&M 2-7, UC Santa Barbara 2-7, University of Washington 1-8. While falling only to the undefeated round robin record of St. Mary's (MD) 9-0.

These results only reflect one round of round robin competition the sailors had to endure, due to poor wind conditions.
