LAS CRUCES, N.M. - The University of Hawai`i Rainbow Wahine golf team is in 15th place after two rounds at the Price's Give Em Five Intercollegiate, shooting a 308 and a 330, on the New Mexico State Golf Course Monday.
Dale Gammie is currently tied for fourth in the tournament at 146 (two-over-par). Gammie shot a 72 in the first round, then a 74 in the second round. Sara Odelius shot a 77, but was forced to withdraw from the second round.
Kari Sur fired a 80 and a 81 to hold a tie for 69th, while Megan Stoddart (165, T80) and Xyra Suyetsugu (169, T87) rounded out the UH squad.
Texas Tech leads the tournament with a 592 overall score and the top two golfers in the tournament thus far. Arizona State is second, followed by New Mexico State and Kansas State to round out the top five.
