LAKESIDE, Calif. - The University of Hawai`i Warrior golf team finished the first day in 13th place at the Barona Collegiate Cup at the Barona Creek Golf Course Monday.

Pierre-Henri Soero was the top UH golfer in a tie for 27th place, firing a two-under-par 142. Ben Douglas shot an even-par 144 to tie for 42nd, while Travis Toyama (t-53, 147, +3), Cody Wolfenbarger (t-59, 148, +4) and Jarett Hamamoto (t-63, 149, +5) round out the Warrior team.

The Barona Cup will finish up on Tuesday, Oct. 26.
