BERKELEY, Calif. - The Hawai'i men's tennis team continued action in Day 3 of the Wilson/ITA Western Regional at the University of California-Berkeley campus, Sunday. The doubles team of Dalibor Ptak and Ryan Sceats saw their tournament run end in the Round of 16 doubles competition as they dropped an 8-6 decision to Oregon's Manuel Kost and Steve Swinnen.

The remainder of the team competed in Consolation round matches throughout the day. Junior Bryon Weinberg advanced to the Round of 32 but fell to Oregon's Chad Wilson in a super-tiebreaker, 3-6, 7-5, (10-8).

Three doubles teams won Round of 64 matches, including the team of Weinberg and Jarrod Diepraam, who also won their Round of 32 match against Davey Jones and Travis Crawford of Cal Poly, 8-6.

The tournament continues Monday with more Consolation round matches.
