Wichita State held it close at the start of game two, as Hawai`i took a 15-10 lead into the media timeout. From there the Rainbow Wahine kept inching their way to the end, taking the second game 30-20.

UH jumped out to a 13-5 lead to start game three off seven straight serves by Alicia Arnott. Hawai`i would get their lead up to 20-8 before letting the Shockers get a couple of small runs late. But it wouldn't be nearly enough as UH took the third game 30-18.

The challenge continues tomorrow as Wichita State plays Pacific in the 5 p.m. match, followed by a match between Hawai`i and Baylor at approximately 7 p.m. The Bears fell to Pacific in four games in the early match.
