Boise, ID –In their final regular season dual meet the Boise State Broncos swept the University of Hawai`i men’s tennis team, 7-0 Tuesday, April 22. The Warriors dropped to 14-12 to finish the season.
Boise State captured the first point of the day with easy wins at all three doubles courts. On the No. 2 court Jarrod Diepraam and Ryan Sceats dropped to 12-10 to finish the season with a loss to the Boise State’s Klemann and Schoeck.
In singles play Boise State continued to dominate with wins on all six singles courts. In the days closest match, Jarrod Diepraam dropped the first set 6-2, and powered back in the second set before losing, 7-5.
Reginaldo Moralejo finished the season with the teams best record at 18-8 despite losing to Thomas Schoeck, 6-1, 6-3. Earlier this month Moralejo earned WAC Player of the Week honors.
Next up the Rainbow Wahine will join the Warriors in Boise to compete in the WAC Championships this weekend.
