Warriors Bounce Denver, 4-3

DENVER - The University of Hawai'i men's tennis team rebounded with a 4-3 victory over Denver, Sunday, at the Stapleton Tennis Pavilion. The Warriors improve to 14-11 overall and concludes it regular season against Boise State, Tuesday, before heading on to the Western Athletic Conference Tournament, Apr. 25-27.

The Warriors rallied from a 1-0 deficit, after dropping the No. 2 and 3 doubles positions. The only UH doubles team to post a victory was at No. 1, where Justin Menolascino and Malino Oda pulled out a 9-8 win over Urban Ljubic and Nejc Smole.

UH won four of the six singles spots, including Ryan Sceats' 6-4, 6-4 victory over Ljubic at the No. 1 spot. Senior Justin Menolascino posted his fourth consecutive victory after defeating Hans Peter Gaber, 7-6, 4-6, 6-2, at No. 3. Francisco Brignole and Jarrod Diepraam also won their matches, securing the Warriors' the four points needed for victory.

UH faces Boise State, its only conference match before the WAC Championships, hosted by the Broncos.
