Warriors Sweep Charleston Southern at Anteater Classic, 7-0

IRVINE, Calif. - The Hawai'i men's tennis team finished the Anteater Classic with a 3-1 record after sweeping Charleston Southern, 7-0, Sunday. The Warriors (13-10) were originally scheduled to face Cal Poly in the fifth place match but the schedule was altered to accommodate the travel plans of the 10 visiting teams participating in the event.

Reginaldo Moralejo picked up his team-leading 18th victory after a 4-6, 6-2, (10-8) victory over Soufiane Rechag in the No. 4 court. The senior has won his last five singles matches and eighth of his last nine. At No. 1 singles, newcomer Ryan Sceats improved to 5-3 since moving to the top position after a 6-1, 6-2 win over Santiago Falla.

Senior Justin Menolascino won his 17th match of the season after rallying to defeat Rodrigo Villarroel, 3-6, 6-0, 6-2. However, he and teammate Malino Oda had their three-match win streak snapped at No.1 doubles, falling to Falla and Rechag, 8-2.

The Warriors take the next two weeks off before making its final road trip of the season to Air Force, Denver, and Boise State, Apr. 18-22.
