FULLERTON, CALIF. - Hawai`i dropped a 3-1 decision tonight to Fresno State in a non-conference match up part of the Kia Klassic hosted by Cal State Fullerton at the Titan Softball Complex.

Fresno State (9-14) scored three times in the third inning off UH starter Melissa Coogan (12-4). FSU starting pitcher Jamie Southern (6-8) hit a two-run homer driving in Angelina Diaz and Christina Clark added a solo shot for the Bulldog scoring.

Hawai`i posted one run in the top of the sixth on the RBI double by Kate Judd who drove home Stacey Porterwho tripled in front of her.

Hawai`i advances to the Consolation Bracket Saturday and plays Louisiana-Lafayette in a game slated for 11 a.m. HST.
