The University of Hawai`i coed sailing team finished 14th at the Truxton Umstead Intersectional in Annapolis, Md.
Bryan Lake and
Jennifer Warnock earned a 10th place finish in the A division. In the B division, Matt Stine and
Sarah Reed finished 16th. In the singlehanded races,
Steve Brown ended up in 15th place and
Will Edwards finished in 10th place in the C and D divisions, respectively. Harvard won the 16-race regatta. Tufts and Old Dominion came in second and third, respectively.
The Rainbow Wahine also sailed this past weekend at the St. Mary’s Women’s Intersectional in St. Mary’s City, Md., where they finished 11th. All-Americans Molly O’Bryan and Sarah Hitchcock earned 69 points for fifth place in the A division. Renee DeCurtis and Melody Torres earned 111 points for 15th place in the B division. St. Mary’s College won the nine-race regatta. Old Dominion and Georgetown came in second and third, respectively.
The coed team is currently ranked fifth in the most recent Sailing World magazine college poll. The Rainbow Wahine are ranked ninth.

Next up for Hawai`i sailing is the St. Francis Yacht Club Intersectional in San Francisco April 6. Both the coed and Wahine teams are participating.
