HONOLULU – The 9th-ranked University of Hawai`i women’s water polo team fell to third-ranked USC, 15-3, March 15, at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex.
USC (13-2, 5-0 MPSF) got goals from six different players including a five-goal performance by All-American Sofia Konoukh. Hawai`i (7-7, 1-4 MPSF) only managed 14 shots to USC’s 28.
The Women of Troy outscored the Rainbow Wahine 6-1 in the first quarter and never looked back.
