Kate Judd led the Rainbow Wahine at the plate while pitcher
Sheri Oronoz pitched UH to a 5-1 victory over Missouri at the Aztec Invitational in San Diego earlier today.
Missouri jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead in the second behind the hitting of Erin Brickson and Mary McGrane.
However, the Rainbow Wahine tied it in the fourth and in the sixth added a four-spot to cap the scoring.
UH was led by Judd who went 2-for-4 at the plate and drove in three runs with a double.
Natalie Gonzales also contributed a 2-for-4 day with an RBI and scored twice.
The Rainbow Wahine (4-3) got a solid performance on the hill by Oronoz (3-1) who went the distance scattering seven hits while striking out three. It was Oronoz's third straight victory of the season.
Missouri's (1-3) Erin Kalka (1-2) suffered the loss going only 4.1 innings before giving way to reliever Ingrid Werner.
