Final Results
KAHUKU, Oahu - The University of Hawai`i Warrior golf team finished their day at the UH/Turtle Bay Intercollegiate where it started, in 17th place, with a 930 total. Hawai`i was unable to make a move in the final round, as they carded a 311team score to close their fall season.
The Warriors were led by junior Manarii Gauthier, who finished the tournament with a 230 total to tie for 55th. Sophomore James Beston finished one stroke back as he tied for 59th after a final round 75. Junior Matt Kodama added a 77 to the team score in his final round, which gave him a 233 total for the tournament.
UNLV won the team title by four strokes over Tennessee. The Rebels closed with a 289 in their wire-to-wire victory, giving them an 857 total. Washington State's Dustin White captured the individual title by shooting a 67 in his final round. White came back from a seven shot defecit to start the day to win by one, with a 212 total.
