HONOLULU -- The No. 12 Rainbow Wahine (23-4, 13-0) defeated the Fresno State Bulldogs (13-9, 7-6) 30-23, 30-20 and 30-27 in front of 7,836 fans at the Stan Sheriff Center on Senior Night for lone senior Tanja Nikolic.

Lone senior Tanja Nikolic played a great match tonight, tallying six kills, four digs and four blocks, while hitting .429. The tandum of Kim Willoughby (22 kills and 14 digs) and Maja Gustin (17 kills and eight digs) provided the majority of the offense for the Wahine.

Hawai`i closed out the WAC regular season with their 20th straight win on the year and 52nd straight WAC regular season win.

The Wahine now head to San Jose, Calif., for the WAC tournament, which will take place from Nov. 15-18. Hawai`i has secured the top seed in the tournament so they will not play their first match until Friday, Nov. 16, against the winner of the 8-seed vs. 9-seed match.
