The University of Hawai`i coed sailing team won the North/South Intersectional, Nov. 10-11, in Santa Barbara, Calif.
Bryan Lake and jennifer Warnock sailed for Hawai`i in the A division. Joey Pasquali, Adam Corpuz-Lahne and Melody Torres sailed in the B division, and Steve Brown and Will Edwards sailed in the C and D divisions, respectively.
The coed team is currently ranked 8th in the Sailing World magazine college poll. The Wahine are ranked 9th.
The final event for Hawai`i sailing is the Intercollegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) Men's Singlehanded North American Championships, Nov. 16-18, in Norfolk, Va. Freshman Bryan lake will represent Hawai`i. Lake finished second in the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate Yacht Racing Association Men's Singlehanded Championships, Sept. 22-23, to qualify for the North American championships.
