STOCKTON, Calif. - The University of Hawai'i men's golf team finished in 12th place at the Pacific Invitational on Oct. 22-23, with a total score of 896.
	The Warriors struggled in the final round with a team score of 310. Junior Joseph Matyas led the team with his first top-20 finish of the season, finishing tied for 17th with a 220 total. Sophomore Matt Kodama slipped out of the top-20 after a round of 78, leaving him in a tie for 24th, one shot behind Matyas. Junior Justin Kim's 75 was the best round of the day for the Warriors, moving him into a tie for 37th with a 225 total.
	The Reserve at Spanos Park proved to be a tough test for the whole field in the final round, surrendering only one individual score under par, and one team score under 300. Fresno State's Justin Echols provided the under par round to boost the Bulldogs to the team title. Pacific's Troy McKinley won the individual title thanks to his pair of 69's in the first two rounds of the tournament.
