Rachael Doyle Head Shot 2019

Rachael Doyle

Rachel Doyle joined the Rainbow Wahine soccer staff in April 2018 taking on recruiting responsibilities and defensive tactics.

Under Doyle's guidance the Bows' went 9-7-1 during her first season as a part of the staff. As a former defensive standout at Washington State she relayed her prior message as a player centered around conditioning and toughness to now being a vocal point of her coaching. In 2018, UH only allowed 20 goals on the season, for third best in the Big West Conference and recorded six shutouts.

Before coming to UH Doyle spent the two seasons with Eastern Kentucky University of the Ohio Valley Conference in Richmond, Kentucky. During her first season on the Colonels' staff, Doyle helped lead them to a share of its first-ever OVC regular-season crown in 2016, completing the most significant turnaround in the NCAA from 4-14 in 2015 to 13-5-1. In the same season, EKU advanced to the OVC Tournament title game for the first time in program history.
A native of Sydney, Australia, Doyle played professionally for the Central Coast Mariners of Australia's W-League from 2008 to 2009.

After wrapping up her playing career in Australia, Doyle earned a scholarship to play collegiately at WSU. Through the span of her collegiate career, she was a four-year letter-winner (2010-14), a three-time team captain (2011-13) and a three-time second team All-Pac-12 selection (2011-13) for the Cougars.

Doyle was also a standout in the classroom during her time at WSU. She was a two-time Pac-12 All-Academic first team member (2012-13) and was voted a second-team Academic All-American in 2013. She graduated summa cum laude from Washington State in 2014 with a degree in Kinesiology.
