Biography

2010-11: Competed in 10 women’s regattas… raced at the Bryson Intersectional (Oct. 2-3) assisting the team to a third place finish… helped the Rainbow Wahine to a second place finish overall at the PCCSC Fall Championship (Oct. 30-31) by claiming second in the B division… started the Spring season by assisting the Rainbows 2 team to a fourth place finish at the Peter Wenner Rainbow Invite (Jan. 22-23)… competed at the South Florida Intersectional (Feb. 19-20) sailing the UH team to a first place finish, capturing second in the B division… sailed at the PCCSC Championship (Apr. 23-24) placing second in her division and overall, helping the team qualify for the women’s Nationals for the 12th time in the last 14 years …  competed at the ICSA Sperry Topsider Women’s National Semifinals (May 23-24) concluding the season with a 10th place finish.

Prep: A 2010 graduate of Minnetonka High School in Minnesota...lettered four years in sailing…won state championships in sailing in 2009…was team captain of the sailing team 2009 and 2010…a member of the honor roll

Personal: Born in Minneapolis, Minn...a civil engineering major...has an older sister and younger brother...parents are Steve and Nancy Kennedy of Chanhassen, Minn.
