University of Hawai'i at Manoa Athletics

Derek Desai enters his first year as video coordinator for the Rainbow Warriors. Derek Desai has been Video Coordinator for the University of the Pacific men’s basketball team for two seasons. He was in charge of all video-related responsibilities, including film exchange. He worked closely with the coaching staff in preparing video scouting reports and comprehensive game breakdowns.

Derek earned his B.A. in sport management and a minor in business management while graduating from Pacific in 2014. He was an undergraduate manager for three seasons with Pacific. Derek is from Lakewood, Colo. where he attended Green Mountain High School and graduated in 2012. During his time at Green Mountain, Derek was a two-time letterwinner for the basketball program and was an academic all-state selection.

Desai is currently pursuing his masters in business administration at UH.
