2022 HAWAI'I WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL SEASON HIGHLIGHTS Advanced to its 29th-straight and 40th-overall NCAA Tournament. Finished 2022 with a 22-6 overall and 19-1 Big West record to win its third-straight Big West title (11th BW title overall & seventh since rejoining the league in 2012). It marked UH's 26 overall conference title. Had a season-long and a Big West-best 12-match win streak (longest since 2019) snapped with an NCAA First round loss to LSU. Won all 10 home conference matches and finished the regular season winning a season-long and BW-best 12-straight matches. The streak was snapped however in the the First Round of the NCAA tournament by LSU. Head coach Robyn Ah Mow recorded her 100th career victory with a win at UC Davis on Oct. 29. She finished the season with a career record of 108-36 and a 79-9 conference mark. UH nearly swept the BW's major post-season awards as Ah Mow was named Coach of the Year; Amber Igiede-Player of the Year; Kate Lang-Setter of the Year; Caylen Alexander-Freshman of the Year. Riley Wagoner garnered First Team honors Igiede also earned AVCA All-Region and third-team All-America honors after setting a new UH record for single-season hitting percentage of .433 (406-73-769) Caylen Alexander set a new UH record winning six Big West Freshman of the Week Awards (Sept. 5, Sept. 26, Oct. 3, Oct. 10, Oct. 31, and Nov. 28) Finished the season leading the Big West with 12.79 assists per set, 13.89 kills per set and a .262 team hitting percentage. Individually, Igiede led the league in blocks per set (1.29), kills per set (3.79), total kills (406), points (523.5), points per set (4.89) and hitting percentage (.433). Four Rainbow Wahine got the job done in the classroom, earning CSC Academic All-District honors–Kendra Ham, Amber Igiede, Tayli Ikenaga, and Rile Wagoner.
