UH advanced to the semifinal round for the sixth consecutive tournament after sweeping CSUN in the quarterfinals but failed to reach the championship match falling to Cal Poly in the semifinals. In the middle of the regular season, the 'Bows went on a seven-match win streak--which included six sweeps over their opponents. It was the longest win-streak since 2018. On March 24, the Rainbow Wahine made their 2022 debut in the ITA national rankings at No. 73 in the middle of their seven-match win streak. It was the first time that UH has been ranked since finishing the 2018 season at No. 65. Three senior transfers all concluded their collegiate careers as Rainbow Wahine. Gitte Heynemans, a transfer from Arizona, led Hawai‘i with a team-best 13-6 overall and 12-4 record in singles while posting a perfect 7-0 record in conference.
