SERIES INFORMATION
  • Fresno State now leads the series 30-24-1 after snapping a two-game losing streak to the Warriors.
  • UH lost at Fresno for the first time since 2018. The Bulldogs improved to 15-9-1 against UH in Fresno after the Warriors had won the last two there.
  • The 42-point loss was the second largest ever against the Bulldogs (56; 70-14 in 2004).
  • Since the teams joined the Mountain West in 2012, Fresno State has won eight of the 11 match-ups.
 
UH IN THE MOUNTAIN WEST
  • Hawai‘i is playing its 11th season in the Mountain West and owns a 27-58 (.318) all-time mark—including 12-29 on the road.
  • Since the conference moved to two divisions in 2013, UH is 15-28 against the West.

TEAM STREAKS/TRENDS 
  • UH is 0-5 in road games this year, including 0-3 in Mountain West play.
  • Hawai‘i is 9-19 on national television dating back to 2019 including an 0-4 mark this season.
  • Hawai‘i has dropped nine of its last 10 national TV games dating back to last year.
  • The Warriors have lost seven straight opening coin tosses.
 
INDIVIDUAL STREAKS/TRENDS 
  • Matthew Shipley missed his first ever extra point attempt after Fresno State blocked his fourth quarter attempt. He previously converted all 87 of his career extra points.
  • Blessman Ta‘ala has played in 61 consecutive games and has not missed a game since arriving at UH in 2018.
  • Ilm Manning has started 57 of 59 career games and 24 straight games dating back to 2020.

TEAM NOTES
  • UH was shutout at half for the third time this season (also at Michigan and San Diego State).
  • The 31-point first-half deficit was the second-largest this season (42-0 at Michigan).
  • UH gave up its first passing touchdown in four games with a second-quarter Bulldog score. UH last surrendered a passing TD in its road loss to San Diego State on October 8.
  • UH had an opponent return an interception for a touchdown for the second time this season when former Warrior Cameron Lockridge returned an interception 31 yards for a score in the first quarter.  
  • Fresno State’s 327 passing yards were the most by a UH opponent this year. Last week, the Warriors limited Wyoming to 76 yards passing which was a season-low by a UH opponent.
  • Jake Haener's 59-yard scoring strike to Jalen Moreno-Cropper in the third quarter was the longest pass play that UH has surrendered this season.
 
INDIVIDUAL NOTES
  • Tamatoa Mokiao-Atimalala scored his first career-touchdown on a 4-yard pass from Brayden Schager.
  • Nasjzae Bryant-Lelei scored his second touchdown of the season with a 1-yard plunge that put UH in the scoring column late in the fourth quarter.
  • Steven Fiso returned to action for the first time since the 2021 season finale and caught a 17-yard pass in the fourth quarter.
  • Nick Cenacle posted a career-long 33-yard catch in the third quarter.
  • In his first career collegiate game, true freshman Alex Perry caught two passes for 19 yards.
  • Brayden Schager finished with a career-high 49 yards rushing on a career-high eight attempts. He also had a career-long 24-yard dash in the fourth quarter.
  • Tylan Hines exceeded 100 yards from scrimmage for the second straight game after finishing with a team-high 79 rushing yards on 11 carries, while also adding four catches for a team-high 48 yards.
  • Logan Taylor recorded his third straight game with 10-plus tackles after finishing with a team-high 11 versus Fresno State. He has 40 tackles total in that span.
  • Ezra Evaimalo recorded his first career sack with a second-quarter takedown of Jake Haener. It was UH’s lone tackle-for-loss of the evening.
  • Matthew Shipley missed a field goal attempt for the second straight game when he a failed on a 48-yard field goal on UH’s opening drive. After starting the season 9-of-10 on field goals, he has gone 2-of-4 in the last two games.
