  • They are the fourth opponent this year to rush for better than 200 yards in a game.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
  • In his second straight start, Logan Taylor again eclipsed his career high with a team-best 16 tackles.
  • It was the most tackles by a Rainbow Warrior this year and the most since Darius Muasau had 16 at Utah State last season.
  • Taylor is one of just three UH players since 2000 to record at least 15 tackles and 1.5 TFLs in a game. (Darius Muasau at Utah, 10/30/21; vs. UNLV, 12/12/20 and Julian Gener vs. Fresno State, 11/14/15).
  • Caleb Phillips scored his first touchdown of the season and the third of his career with a 1-yd catch in the second quarter.
  • Tamatoa Mokiao-Atimalala recorded a career-best three catches for 38 yards, all coming on a second-quarter drive that ended with UH’s lone touchdown of the day.
  • Dedrick Parson failed to find the end zone for just the second time in eight games this season. The senior still led the team in rushing yards (71) and receptions (6) in the game.
  • Since coming back from injury, Zion Bowens has led the team in receiving yards in each of the last three games. Bowens finished with 38 yards on two catches vs the Rams.
  • Peter Manuma tied his career-high with 10 tackles while also adding a pass breakup. It was the second time in the last three games he’s finished with at least 10 tackles.
  • Malik Hausman set a new career-high with eight tackles.
  • Solo Vaipulu saw his first action of the season, starting at left guard. Vaipulu is in his fifth year with the program and has the second-most career starts (41) of any player on offense.
