2020-21 HAWAI'I MEN'S BASKETBALL

SEASON HIGHLIGHTS

• UH posted a winning record for the eighth time in the last nine seasons. 

• UH is the only Big West school to have played all 18 (countable) conference games.  

• After a 1-4 Big West start, UH went 8-5 after, including wins in three of its last four regular-season games.  

• UH finished the Big West regular-season with a 9-9 mark and has never finished with a losing record in nine seasons while in the league. 

• Eran Ganot picked up his 100th career victory with a 73-68 road win at UC Davis on March 5. A total of 97 of the wins came at UH while three were earned as the acting head coach at Saint Mary’s.

• UH’s 76-53 win at Cal State Fullerton was the largest margin of victory ever in a Big West road game.

• Seven international-born players suited up for the Rainbow Warriors this season. UH got a combined 41.0 points per game from the group, the third-highest average nationally among international players.

• UH concluded its home season with a 7-5 mark and has finished each of the last 11 seasons with a winning home record.

• Four Rainbow Warriors -  Justin Webster (12.3), James Jean-Marie (12.2), Casdon Jardine (10.9), and Junior Madut (10.5) finished the season averaging double-digit scoring. All four were named all-Big West honorable mention.

SAME HOME, NEW NAME

With COVID protocols in place, the Rainbow Warriors finally returned to the court in December 2020 and did so in a newly named venue: SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center.

MEMORABLE MOMENT

The Rainbow Warriors stormed back from a double-digit deficit with a little more than two minutes left in regulation to eventually pull off an overtime upset of defending regular-season champion UC Irvine.
