Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex - Home of Rainbow Warrior Football

The Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex will serve as the temporary home of University of Hawai‘i football while construction of the New Aloha Stadium Entertainment District is completed. The new stadium is projected to open in 2024.

For the upcoming 2021 season, Ching Field will seat approximately 9,000 and will include luxury suites and press boxes, a new turf field, videoboard and sound system, and other amenities, including food and alcohol concessions, merchandise, and restrooms. Expansion is expected in Year 2 of the project that will increase seating to 15,000.

MESSAGE FROM THE ATHLETICS DIRECTOR

"Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate the 16,000 ticket commitments with the capacity at 9,000 in the first year. Those commitments include season ticket holders, students, and contractual agreements with corporate partners and visiting teams. Our goal is to be as transparent and inclusive as possible. It is a delicate balancing act between revenue generation and inclusiveness.

We are providing a pool of tickets to be available on an individual game basis for season ticket holders who don’t receive season tickets this year. This will enable more access to our season ticket holders.

This situation is temporary and we are optimistic that we will be able to expand seating capacity up to 15,000 fans in year two in order to provide more opportunities for our loyal fans to experience the excitement of Hawai‘i Warrior football in person.” - David Matlin

SEASON TICKET PRICING

SEASON TICKET ELIGIBILITY

Must be a 2021-2022 H-Club member
Must have purchased 2019 football season tickets*
* National Champion, All-American, and All-Conference members will be eligible to purchase 2021 football season tickets regardless of 2019 season ticket status.

SEAT SELECTION PRIORITY ORDER

2021-2022 H-Club membership levels will determine priority groupings for seat selection
- Priority within each grouping will be based on total years an account has purchased football season tickets since 2001 (first year of electronic ticket records)
  - Priority Tie Breakers:
    1. Total 2021-2022 H-Club dollars (seat premiums + membership payments)
    2. Total number of football season tickets purchased since 2001
H-Club payments must be submitted by June 7, 2021 in order to apply to priority for 2021 football season tickets.

SEAT SELECTION PROCESS

Starting in mid-June 2021, eligible H-Club members will be contacted in order of priority to select season ticket locations
Seat selection will continue until all available seats have been allocated

Seating inventory is estimated to sustain season ticket allocations for National Champion, All-American, All-Conference, and Captain level members at minimum. Members at subsequent levels will be offered an opportunity to purchase tickets based on availability.

SEASON TICKET LIMITS

Based on 2021-2022 H-Club status:

National Champion ($20,000) 12 tickets
All-American ($10,000) 6 tickets
All-Conference ($4,000) 4 tickets
Captain ($2,000) 2 tickets
Starter ($1,000) 2 tickets
Varsity ($500) 2 tickets
Fan ($50) 2 tickets

Additional season tickets beyond the above limits may be accommodated if seats remain after all eligible members have exercised their option to purchase. Additional seats may not be in similar locations as primary seats.

SINGLE GAME TICKETS

To be as inclusive as possible, a limited number of single game tickets will be made available to existing season ticket holders that are unable to purchase 2021 season tickets
Single game tickets will be offered to the general public based on availability after existing season ticket holders have been accommodated

2021 Football Parking Information

Football season parking passes will be available exclusively to H-Club members who purchase 2021 football season tickets.

The allocation process for parking passes will follow H-Club priority order and be executed by phone in conjunction with season ticket seat selection.

All lower campus parking will be sold exclusively in advance, including general spaces in the Zone 20 structure. Parking admission will not be available to purchase at Dole Street or Waialae Avenue gates on game days.

Parking passes will be mailed in August to the ticket account holder on record. A receipt for the tax deductible portion of each transaction will be sent to the payer (credit card holder) in January 2022.

H-Club members must purchase 2021 football season tickets in order to acquire reserved parking. Accounts will be verified prior to the mailing of parking passes.

Transactions are final and not refundable. Parking passes are non-renewable. Other restrictions may apply.

How do I earn H-Club membership?
2021-2022 H-Club membership is calculated by totaling the following:
1) 2019-2020 seat premiums from season tickets in all sports
2) Membership payments rolled over from 2020
3) Membership payments made in 2021
At which H-Club level can I safely assume an opportunity to purchase 2021 season tickets?
Seating inventory at the Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex is estimated to sustain season ticket allocations for National Champion, All-American, All-Conference, and Captain level members at minimum. Members at subsequent levels will be offered an opportunity to purchase tickets based on availability.
Can I purchase the same number of season tickets and in similar locations as past seasons at Aloha Stadium?
In some cases, the reduction in seating inventory between Aloha Stadium and the Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex may result in 2019 season ticket holders being unable to purchase season tickets in the same quantity and/or location as past seasons.
Can I purchase season tickets this year if I was not a season ticket holder during the 2019 season?
Fans that were not football season ticket holders during the 2019 season must be H-Club members at the All-Conference level or above in order to be eligible for 2021 football season tickets.
Can I purchase football season tickets beyond the stated maximums?
Additional season tickets beyond the stated maximums may be offered if seats remain after all eligible accounts have exercised their option to purchase.
What is the deadline to improve my priority for 2021 football season tickets?
H-Club membership payments must be submitted online or postmarked by June 7, 2021 in order to be applied to 2021 football season ticket priority.
Will single game tickets be available?
To be as inclusive as possible, a limited number of single game tickets will be made available to 2019 season ticket holders that are unable to secure 2021 season tickets. Seating inventory is expected to provide all eligible accounts with access to at least one game during the 2021 season.
Will tailgating be allowed prior to football games at Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex?
Tailgating in the traditional sense is not permitted on the University of Hawai‘i – Manoa campus. Alternative pre-game festivities are being explored for the 2021 football season.
Are H-Club membership payments refundable if I am unable to secure tickets or unsatisfied with my seat locations?
H-Club membership payments are non-refundable.
Does H-Club ticket priority apply to sports other than football?
H-Club ticket priority now applies to requests for new season tickets and seat relocations in all ticketed sports.
Are H-Club membership payments tax deductible?
H-Club membership payments are no longer tax deductible following the addition of ticket priority benefits this year. Please consult your tax professional for more information.
Are H-Club memberships transferable?
H-Club membership earned through seat premiums and/or membership payments may not be transferred or credited to other accounts. Exceptions to this policy are granted for combinations of accounts under the same name or between spouses.
I credited my 2020 football season ticket and/or parking payment to the 2021 season. How and when will this credit be applied to my account?
Credits from 2020 football season ticket and parking payments will be applied to the amount due for 2021 season tickets / parking at the point of sale in June/July. If an excess amount remains after satisfying the balance due or a customer is unable to secure 2021 season tickets, the available credit amount will be refunded.
What are “Single Game Ticket Vouchers” listed in H-Club member benefits?
Each voucher is valid for any single game ticket that may be purchased to a 2021-2022 women’s volleyball, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, men’s volleyball or baseball game. Vouchers are not valid for 2021 football single game tickets. Vouchers must be redeemed at the Stan Sheriff Center or Les Murakami Stadium box offices.
Will 2021 football season tickets be renewable for the 2022 season?
2021 season tickets will be renewable provided a customer is within the ticket limit set by their 2022-2023 H-Club membership level. In the event facility expansion alters seating configurations, every effort will be made to provide comparable seats.
Can I transfer my football season tickets?
Football season ticket transfers have been paused until further notice as we allocate seats for our inaugural season at the Clarence T.C. Ching Athletic Complex.

The Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex, in the heart of the Manoa campus, will be the new home for UH Football. Retrofitting the complex to be ready to host the Rainbow Warrior football games for the 2021 season will cost more than $8 million. To raise funds in support of the project, a campaign for the Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex, has been launched.
