SERIES INFORMATION
  • Washington improved to 4-2 against Hawai‘i, including a 2-1 mark in Seattle.
  • The Huskies have won the last three meetings (also wins in 2011 and ’14).
 
Versus The Pac-12
  • UH has lost its last nine mainland games against the Pac-12.
  • UH dropped to 32-62 (.340) against current members of the Pac-12 conference. The Rainbow Warriors are also now 8-23 (.258) all-time on the road against Pac-12 squads.
  • The Warriors, however, still went an impressive 2-1 against the Pac-12 this year.
 
STREAKS/TRENDS
  • UH has dropped 17 of its last 18 non-conference road games dating back to 2010.
  • UH has lost its last 11 games against ranked opponents dating back to 2010 and has an overall record of 10-44.
  • UH is 1-17 all-time against ranked teams on the road with its only win at No. 22 Fresno State in 2008. Hawai‘i has lost seven straight since then.
  • UH dropped to 0-4 against ranked teams under Nick Rolovich.
  • UH is tied with Auburn for the longest streak in the country at 133 games without allowing a punt block. Hawai‘i last had a punt blocked by Notre Dame in 2008.

TEAM NOTES
  • UH faced its biggest halftime deficit (31 points, 38-7) since 2016 vs. Boise State (32 points, 35-3).
  • Under Rolovich, UH is 1-6 in non-conference road/neutral games (only win at UMass in 2017) and 7-13 in overall road/neutral games.
  • UH’s 93-yard scoring drive to open up the second half was its longest this season.
  • UH was 3-of-3 on 4th-down conversions and 3-of-3 in the red zone.
  • UH has committed 11 turnovers (8 interceptions, 3 fumbles) through the first three games.
INDIVIDUAL NOTES
  • Sophomore running back Miles Reed scored his first two career touchdowns when he recovered his own fumble in the end zone after an 8-yard gain late in the second quarter and scored again on a 7-yard run on UH’s opening drive of the second half.
  • UH had its third running back start in as many games as Fred Holly III got the nod against UW. Holly finished with four carries for 13 yards.
  • Melquise Stovall made first career start at receiver at UH and finished with four catches for 21 yards.  
  • Cedric Byrd caught six passes for 72 yards and scored on a four-yard catch in the third quarter. The senior co-leads the team with five touchdowns.
  • Cole McDonald has thrown eight interceptions in the first three games. McDonald didn’t throw his first interception until the fifth game of last season and threw 10 interceptions total all of last season.
  • McDonald has thrown for at least one touchdown in 15 of 16 games dating back to last season.
  • Khoury Bethley got his first career start at safety, however, received a personal foul (targeting) penalty on just the second play of the game and was disqualified for the remainder of the game.
  • After making his first field goal attempt of the season versus Arizona, Ryan Meskell has gone a combined 1-of-6 in his last two games, including misses from 55- and 49-yards against Washington.
  • Senior safety Kalen Hicks co-led the team in tackles with eight and has a team-high 27 tackles through the first three games.
  • Sophomore safety Donovan Dalton also had eight tackles, a new career high.
