SERIES INFORMATION
  • UH dropped to 9-14 all-time vs. Wyoming, including 3-7 in Laramie.
  • UH has lost seven of its last eight meetings with the Cowboys.
  • UH has lost in its last five trips to Laramie. UH’s last win in Laramie was in 1991 (32-17).
  • Wyoming regains possession of the Paniolo Trophy, given to the winning team since the trophy’s inception in 1979.
  • UH and Wyoming played their second straight overtime game in Laramie. The Cowboys won 59-56 during UH’s last visit in 2013.  
 
STREAKS/TRENDS
  • Senior tackle Dejon Allen made his 42nd straight start, the longest streak on the team. 
  • Senior safety Trayvon Henderson made his 31st straight start, the longest streak on the defensive side of the ball. 
  • UH has turned the ball over at least once in 26 of the last 27 games.
  • UH has dropped 31 of its last 33 games on national television.
          
TEAM NOTES
  • UH held Wyoming to just 269 total yards, the lowest output by a UH opponent since the 2012 season finale vs. South Alabama (166).  
  • UH allowed a kickoff return for a touchdown for the first time since 2015 (at New Mexico) after Tyler Hall’s 97-yard score late in the third quarter.
  • Trey Woods 59-yard run in the fourth quarter was the longest by a UH opponent this year.
  • UH dropped to 4-5 overall in true road games under Nick Rolovich.
  • UH dropped to 8-5 all-time in overtime games and 6-2 in road overtime games.
  • UH moved to 8-33 in the Mountain West regular season games, including 4-17 on the road.
  • UH dropped to 15-24 in conference-opening games, which includes a 3-6 mark against Wyoming.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
  • Diocemy Saint Juste finished with 120 rushing yards on 26 carries for his third 100-yard performance of the season and the eighth of his career.
  • It was Saint Juste’s fifth 100-yard game in the last six contests, dating back to last year. 
  • Saint Juste now has 2,146 career rushing yards and moved past Wilbert Haslip, Heikoti Fakava and Jamal Farmer into No. 6 on the all-time UH rushing list.
  • Saint Juste has scored in three of four games this year after his 5-yard run that put UH up 14-7 late in the third quarter.  
  • Drew Brown set new career highs for in completions (29) and attempts (40).
  • John Ursua recorded the fourth 100-yard game of his career after finishing with eight catches for 102 yards and a touchdown.
  • Ursua, who scored on a 50-yard pass from Dru Brown in the fourth quarter, has scored a touchdown in each of the three games he has appeared in this year.
  • Ammon Barker recorded career highs of seven catches for 55 yards.
  • Senior running back Ryan Tuiasoa scored on a 1-yard fourth-down plunge for his team-best fourth touchdown this year. He has scored in three of four games this year.
  • Freshman lineman Max Hendrie got in on the first sack of his career when he and Jahlani Tavai took down Josh Allen in the second quarter.
  • Jahlani Tavai finished with at least 10 tackles for the third time this season.
  • Stan Gaudion booted a career-long 55-yard punt late in the first half, one of two 50-yard kicks he had on the evening.
  • Freshman defensive back Eugene Ford made his first career start and finished with two tackles, including one for a loss.
  • Zeno Choi earned his first start of the season and third of his career. He finished with two tackles.
