SERIES INFORMATION

  • UH moved to 5-28 all-time in Mountain West games. UH is 15-23 in conference openers, including 2-3 in Mountain West openers

STREAKS
  • UH won its first Mountain West game since beating UNLV, 37-35, at Aloha Stadium on Nov. 22, 2014.  The Rainbow Warriors went winless in Mountain West play last year (0-8) and had dropped nine straight conference games.
  • UH ended a string of five straight losses to the Wolf Pack. UH’s last win against Nevada was a 27-21 upset of Colin Kaepernick and the No. 19 Wolf Pack in Honolulu. Nick Rolovich was the UH offensive coordinator for that game.
  • Dejon Allen made his 29th straight start, the longest on the offensive side of the ball.

TEAM NOTES
  • UH’s 38-17 win was the second-largest margin of victory in a Mountain West game since joining the league in 2012. UH’s biggest win was its first-ever conference victory, a 48-10 blowout of UNLV in 2012.
  • UH won its Mountain West opener for the second time in five years in the league. The other win was over Wyoming, 38-28, at home in the 2014 opener.
  • UH accumulated a season high 566 yards, the most yardage since accumulating 578 in the 2014 win over UNLV
  • UH rushed for a season-high 344 yards, the team’s highest total since posting 348 yards, also vs. UNLV in 2014.
  • The UH defense held Nevada to 397 yards, a season-low for a UH opponent.
  • UH’s held a 3-0 lead after the first quarter and a 17-3 lead at half. It was the first time this year that UH led after the first quarter, as well as at the half.
  • UH has turned the ball at least once in each game this season and in 14 straight games dating back to last season. The last time UH didn’t turn the ball over was at Wisconsin on Sept. 6, 2015.

INDIVIDUAL PLAYER NOTES
  • Diocemy Saint Juste became the 10th player in UH history to rush for over 200 yards when he finished with 205 yards on 19 carries. His single-game total is the eighth-best in school history.
