SERIES INFORMATION: Hawai‘i and Fresno State met for the 48th time and 27 time in Honolulu— with the loss, FS extends its series lead to 26-21-1 and trims the UH lead in Honolulu to 14-13.
- The teams met for the 24th consecutive season to extend the longest series in UH program history.
- Fresno State wins its fifth consecutive game in the series—UH has not defeated Fresno State since 2010 and last topped FS in Honolulu during the 2007 season.
— The Hawai‘i losing streak extends to eight (8) games and three (3) at home.
— With the loss, the Hawai‘i program record drops to 536-435-25 (.551), and 448-276-22 (.615) at home.
—Hawai‘i overall Mountain West record falls to 4-27 (.129), 4-25 under head coach Norm Chow, and 0-2 under interim coach Chris Naeole.
—The UH Mountain West losing streak grows to eight (8) games, beginning with Fresno State on Nov. 29, 2014.
—Naeole is the program’s first interim coach to be active during a season.—UH holds a 2-9 record after 11 games for the second time in the last 20 years, previously in 2012.
Team Notes:—Julian Gener’s 5.0 TFL was the most in a game since Art Laurel had the same vs. South Alabama on 12/1/12, he tied the UH single-game record for the stat.—UH allowed an opposing quarterback to throw for six (6) touchdowns for the first time since Wyoming’s Brett Smith in 2013.
—Makoa Camanse Stevens’ second quarter touchdown reception to tie the game at 7-7 was his first career touchdown reception—and his fourth career catch.
—Nick Nelson was ejected for targeting near the end of the first quarter, and is the second UH player ejected on the call this season.
—Fresno State was the eighth opponent to score first on the Rainbow Warriors this season.
—Despite trailing at the end of the first quarter, UH held its eighth opponent this season to a touchdown or less in the opening period.
—Camanse-Stevens had a career high six receptions for 63 yards.
—UH tied the highest penalty count this season and had the most penalty yards since committing 13 fouls for 144 yards against New Mexico State in 2007.
—Paul Harris rushed for a total of 126 yards, marking his fourth 100+ yard rushing performance of the year.
--Harris carried the ball for a career-best 26 times for 126 yards.
—Ikaika Woolsey completed a first quarter 33-yard pass to Melvin Davis, which was a season and career best for Davis.
—Melvin Davis’ third-quarter rushing touchdown was his seventh of the year and needs one more score to match last year’s leader, Joey Iosefa.

—Marcus Kemp made five receptions for 105 yards, the most receptions since the Boise State on Oct. 3, and yards since registering 119 vs. UC Davis on Sept. 19.
—This was his third 100+ yard receiving game this season and sixth of his career.
—With 17 total stops, Julian Gener accumulated his most tackles since registering 19 on Oct. 10 vs. San Diego State.
