  • San Diego State leads the series versus UH, 18-9-2, including 9-3 in San Diego. SDSU has won the last three meetings.
  • UH set a new school-record with its 16th straight road loss dating back to 2011. The former record was 15, which stretched from 1995 to the 1999 season. UH’s last road win came at Idaho (16-14) on Oct. 29, 2011
  • UH has lost all nine of its Mountain West road games since joining the conference in 2012. UH has lost 10 straight road conference games overall.
  • The UH offense set a season low in points (10), while its 264 yards was the second-lowest output this year (261 at Rice).
  • UH failed to crack 100 yards rushing for the first time this year, finishing with a season-low 90 yards. Meanwhile, the Aztecs rushed for an opponent season-high 283 yards.
  • UH has dropped 19 straight nationally televised games dating back to 2011 and are 18-58-2 in 78 all-time appearances. UH’s last nationally televised win was at home versus Colorado (34-17) in the 2011 season opener (ESPN2).
  • Donnell Pumphrey’s 47-yard run in the fourth quarter was the longest rush by a UH opponent this season. Pumphrey finished with 182 yards, the most by a UH opponent this season.
  • Marcus Kemp scored for the second straight week and for the second time in his career with a 39-yard score from Ikaika Woolsey near the end of the first half.
  • Tyler Hadden went 1-of-2 on the night, missing a 39-yard attempt and converting a 25-yard field goal. He is now 12-of-15 (80%) on the season.
  • Making his second career-start, Benny Fonua tied his career-high with nine tackles, including two for-a-loss. The junior linebacker also added two pass break-ups.
  • UH lost by double-digits for just the second time this year.
