UH snapped an 11-game losing streak—the second longest in school history—with its first win of the season.

UH’s 11 losses this season marks only the third time in school history with double-digit losses and second highest season total (2-10 in 1996 and 0-12 in 1998)
UH improved to 11-13-1 against the academies, including a 3-0 record vs. Army.
UH topped 600 yards of offense for the second straight with 608 yards. UH registered 624 yards in last week’s loss at Wyoming. It was the first time UH had that many yards in back-to-back games since going for 600+ versus San Jose State, New Mexico State and UNLV in 2010.
UH enjoyed its third lead at halftime this year and its largest lead at the break of the season (21 points)
Joey Iosefa completed his first career touchdown pass with a 1-yd completion to Harold Moleni in the second quarter. It was Moleni’s second touchdown catch of the season.
Iosefa found the endzone for the fourth straight contest with an 8-yard run in the third quarter.
Iosefa recorded his third 100-yard rushing game this year and fourth of his career with 154 yards on 28 carries.
Steven Lakalaka ran for a career-high 104 yards on 19 carries and scored his fourth rushing touchdown this year with a 1-yd plunge in the third quarter.
Lakalaka and Iosefa became the first pair of UH running backs to rush for better than 100 yards in a game since Leon Wright-Jackson (167) and Alex Green (110) vs. Utah State in 2009.
UH’s 285 yards rushing were a season high and its most since gaining 291 at New Mexico State in 2010.
Senior quarter Sean Schroeder finished with 322 yards passing and three touchdowns. It was the sixth 300-yard performance by Schroeder this year. Schroeder concluded his two-year career at UH ranked seventh in passing yards (4,832) and tied for sixth in touchdowns (39).
Scott Harding scored his first touchdown of the season on a 26-yard reception from Schroeder on UH’s first drive of the game.
UH scored a touchdown on its opening drive for the second straight week.
Marcus Langkilde scored for the second straight week with a 1-yd reception from Sean Schroeder in the first quarter.
Vasquez Haynes scored his third touchdown of the season with a 10-yd reception in the second quarter.
Chris Gant finished with eight catches for 116 yards for his fifth 100-yard performance this year.
Junior linebacker Tevita Lataimua earned his first career start and tied his career with eight tackles.
A total of 20 seniors made their final appearances as Rainbow Warriors.
Captain Jeffery James—United States Navy Commander for Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam—served as the honorary captain. Craig Cofer and Scott Harding served as team captains during the coin toss.
